Do you believe that all people deserve access to the full range of health care options when planning a family? Join Fight for Families now.
For decades, people grappling with the heartache of infertility have turned to in vitro fertilization (IVF) and other reproductive care to fulfill their dream of having a baby. However, with reproductive rights now determined by state governments after the reversal of Roe v. Wade (Dobbs v. Jackson), the future access to IVF is also uncertain.
Lawmakers must put families first. Help us defend our dreams, our health and our hopes to build our families.
As of today, IVF is open and accessible in all 50 states and Washington, D.C. However, with Roe v. Wade no longer law and reproductive rights now in the hands of state lawmakers, new legislation intended to restrict or ban abortion may include language that is unclear or specifically targets in-vitro embryos. That means fertility treatments like IVF could become inaccessible, unaffordable, and out of reach for those who need it.
